Take No Thought for Your Life (conclusion) Part 16

Praise the Lord, Beloved, and Greetings in the Name of the One who said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35). The Apostle Paul said that the Author of these words is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ. It is His Name that I greet you.

Beloved, in conclusion of our theme, “Take no Thought for Your Life” - I must share this with you: Ask for what you need. There is no need for God’s children to beg! The king’s kids don’t beg! All we need to do is believe, and God will grant our requests. Don’t take my word for it—ask Jabez (see I Chronicles 4:9-10). Don’t complain about what you don’t have, but rather, thank God by faith for what He has given you, even though it’s not yet manifested. Remember, a few Sundays ago, the Lord had me minister to you from Hebrews 11:1— “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. Though the help of the Holy Spirit, we learned that substance is translated from a Greek word meaning entitlement. This reminds us that true faith is manifested in our lives when we believe that we have the ownership and the title deed to something that can’t yet be seen. In other words, if you don’t see your entitlement before it’s manifested in your life, then you have no “substance”, and more importantly, you have no faith!

Chosen Ones, in conclusion, take no thought for what you desire from God. Don’t worry at all whether you will receive the answer to your prayers. You will! Don’t look on what little you have. Rather, think of what God can speak into existence in a moment. Finally, don’t try to fathom, in your finite mind, how God (with His infinite mind) will get the answer to you. Leave that up to Him.

I will write on a new subject next week.
Until then, know this,
I love you all SO very much,
In His Love,

Pastor William L. McCoy
