The Glory of the Son of Man (continued)

Beloved, in continuance of our theme, “The Glory of the Son of Man” – Remember, the prophet Daniel said, “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit…” (Daniel 7:9). On reading this divinely inspired prophecy, most saints ask, “When and how shall these things be, concerning future events? Yet, when we observe this verse more closely, we can discover when these things shall be. When we consider past world developments (the destruction of the Berlin Wall, the Gulf War, etc.), it is evident, that in these times, more “thrones” are being “cast down” than ever before. Today, given the abolition of Apartheid in South Africa and the global market, “uneasy lies the head that wears the crown,” as my grandfather used to say. In other words, as Jesus taught us (Matthew 24:6), “wars and rumors of wars” have set the precedent. In our time, we are losing casualties in the Middle East. This is confirmation of the fact that “My [Jesus’] time is at hand” (Matthew 26:18).

Precious Ones, all of these past and future events lead us to the thought that it is time now for God to reveal to this world “the Glory of the Son of Man.” Beloved, what I am trying to show you through scripture is this – our season to be blessed is right now. Now is the time for God’s “Glory” (His manifestation of blessings) to be shown upon His children (the saints). Do not take my word; let us rehearse the revelation given to the Apostle Paul. He said, “I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” (Romans 8:18). Paul does not stop there. He goes on to say that “the earnest expectation of the creature [the world of believers and unbelievers] waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God [they are waiting to behold the wonderful sight of the Sons of God coming into their own and inheriting what belongs to them]” (Romans 8:19).

Chosen Ones, I will write more on this subject next week, but consider this – there is nothing in scripture that suggests that we have to wait for “the Glory of the Son of Man” to be revealed in heaven! Remember, “[the] time is at hand” (Matthew 26:18) right now!

I am so blessed to know you all.

The Glory of the Son of Man (continued)

Beloved, in continuance of our theme, “The Glory of the Son of Man” – The Spirit that thrills and vibrates the bodies of the baptized saints today is the same Spirit that made up the “One Body” (I Corinthians 12:12-13) in the days of old. Beloved, this is that “Body” that Daniel saw in his vision of the “Son of Man.” “The Ancient of Days” is Christ in His ancient and eternal glory. Let me pause and instruct the saints that this is why we should not ever be scared to live for Jesus or scared of the powers of darkness. Why? Because we have “the Glory of God” living inside of us! Daniel saw a measure of God’s “Glory.” He said, “I beheld till the thrones were cast down [everyone will humble themselves in His presence], and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame [God’s power inside of us, through His Holy Spirit, can “burn up” all of Satan’s power], and his wheels [God’s glory] as burning fire” (Daniel 7:9). The Apostle John too, could not describe Jesus without mentioning “fire.” This teaches us that our glory ought to outshine and consume that of the powers of darkness.

Precious Ones, the “Son of Man” is the Body of the Spirit-filled saints. I do not want to lose anybody while I am teaching, so let me take this slowly; (1) Jesus Christ is our Lord, (2) but now that He has ascended to His original position, we (the saints) are “His Christ” [His anointed]. “The kingdoms of this world [will] become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ [His anointed ones].” This means that it is only through the saints that the kingdoms of this cosmos (the planets) and of the eons (ages) will be secured as the Lord’s. Through our glory, God will make sure that “He shall reign for ever and ever” (Revelation 11:15).

Chosen Ones, all I am trying to say is that at this time, God has given the saints the same position that Lucifer had in heaven. We are the guardians of God’s anointing. Our lives will determine whether this world will extol Jesus as the King who reigns forever.

I will write more on this subject next week. Until then, know this…

The Glory of the Son of Man (continued)

Beloved, in continuance of our theme, “The Glory of the Son of Man” – Let us further explain Daniel’s vision of One like “the Son of [M]an” coming to “the Ancient of [D]ays” and receiving a kingdom (see Daniel 7:13 onward). This vision teaches us in plain words that the ones like the “Son of Man” are the “saints of the Most High God” – the saints of Jesus Christ.

Precious Ones, the saints of the Most High are one in Christ – we are “the glory of the Son of Man.” We, the saints, so resemble the “glory of Jesus” that Paul called us “one body.” Christ is also One Body, and we are Christ’s bodily members – His people. All who are baptized by that “One Spirit” and who live a clean, holy life are members of that one body (see II Corinthians 6:14-18). Just as we are connected together by Jesus’ Spirit, we are also connected to His Spirit as well.

Chosen Ones, this is why Jesus does not mind when the saints are (1) happy, (2) fulfilled, (3) prosperous, (4) Spirit-filled, and (5) healthy. We are the ones who show forth the “glory of Jesus” in our lives to the world of unbelievers! Do you remember reading why God considers us “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people”? Paul explains why in the same scripture; “[so] that [we] should shew forth the praises of him who hath called [us] out of darkness into his marvelous light” (I Peter 2:9). In other words, people will not see “the glory of the Son of Man” unless they see how well He takes care of you! Something to think about – isn’t it?

The Glory of the Son of Man (continued)

Beloved, in continuance of our theme, “The Glory of the Son of Man” – Scripture records that Joseph was hated by his brethren (see Genesis 37:4). We are familiar with the story of his brethren casting him into the pit, and of Joseph being sold into slavery in Egypt. He was then falsely accused and thrown into jail, but in the fullness of time he arose from prison and ascended to the throne. The whole purpose of Joseph’s pain was to bring him into future glory.

Precious Ones, do not forget this! Daniel said, “the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High” (Daniel 7:27). He also said that “the time came [when] the saints possessed the kingdom” (Daniel 7:22). Do you see, Beloved? The saints are “the glory of the Son of Man.” We are the “glory” (the manifestation) of Jesus. As the world looks at us, we are supposed to “possess the kingdom of God.”

Chosen Ones, Daniel saw a vision where “one like the Son of man…came to the Ancient of days…And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him” (Daniel 7:13-14). This vision has always been a conundrum (a pun or riddle) to many. To most people, the “Son of Man” refers to Jesus Christ. This is true in a sense, but there is a deeper revelation. In plain words, the “Son of Man” refers to the “saints of the most High.”

Children of God, this means that God has given us the position that Jesus held when He was on this earth; we are Sons of God. That is why John said, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God” (I John 3:2). Now, Jesus has a higher position; He is back into Fatherhood. That is why Paul said, “it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell” (Colossians 1:19). The saints are now His “glory.” Jesus is back in the spirit realm, so all the dominion He had on this earth is ours if we accept it.

The Glory of the Son of Man (continued)

Beloved, the Lord Jesus has inspired me to write unto you from a new theme entitled “The Glory of the Son of Man.” Beloved, it is my endeavor to share with you the finest teachings from the Word of God that He shares with me. Beloved, the manifestation of the sons of God is evidently near at hand. “[T]he whole creation [Romans 8:22] groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now [even the year 2004]” for that grand and glorious event - the Rapture of the saints of God to His heavenly City, prepared for us. It must come; it shall happen! It will come and it will not tarry (see Habakkuk 2:3).

Precious Ones, for many years, men and women of God have been teaching on this subject of “The Rapture.” Some have given up hope. Yet, many hearts have been made to rejoice when they behold what the future holds in store for them that love Him. Even I, your humble servant, through the help of the Holy Spirit, have taught on this subject several times in almost nine years of ministry. According to the Apostle Paul, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, [even] the deep things of God” (I Corinthians 2:9-10). This revelation of Paul should cause this congregation to rejoice! The sons of Korah, the praisers, said, “Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God” (Psalm 87:3). Beloved, the “City of God” refers to the spirit-filled saints – the Bride of the Lamb. The Bride will be given power to rule over nations. That’s why the scripture says, “[H]e that overcometh, and keepeth [God’s] works unto the end, to him will [He] give power over the nations” (Revelation 2:26). This is a great part of the “Glory of the Son of Man.” Saints, we are His glory.

Chosen Ones, why do you think Jesus said, “Whosoever…shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels” (Mark 8:38)? I’ll tell you why; to teach those who despised the followers of the lowly Nazarene (Jesus) – those who rejected, scoffed, and ridiculed Him – that these same followers will one day rule the nations! Remember, “with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26).
