He That Overcometh (continued)

Beloved, in continuance of our theme, “He that Overcometh” – out of the seven church ages, the one that we should strive to emulate, should be the Church of Philadelphia (Revelation 3:8-13). Why? Because the promises to the “overcomers” of the Church of Philadelphia are deep and wonderful. The prevalent spirit was that of brotherly love. Notice that out of all the church ages, the church that represents “brotherly love,” is the church that received the greatest promises of blessings. I want Anointed Harvest Fellowship Church to continue to “overcome” hate, bigotry, social class prejudices, and so on, so that we, as a church, will receive the blessings of the Church of Philadelphia. Beloved, the secrets of the Lord are with them that fear him (meaning, reverence Him)!

Precious Ones, no man can shut the door that God has opened to his “Philadelphian” saints. Although our strength in and of itself is small and we must rely on Jesus’ name alone, our victory will be great!!! God himself said about the Church of Philadelphia, “for thou hast a little strength,” but “hast kept my word” (Revelation 3:8). (Meaning those of us who preach and live by the truth of God’s word are few in terms of numbers, but we truly are obedient to His word.) God made a promise to us when he said, “Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan…worship before thy feet” (Revelation 3:9). In other words, Beloved, Satan has a church that does not go by the name of the Church of Satan. This is a church “which say they are Jews [meaning born-again believers], but do lie” (Revelation 3:9). This means, Beloved, many churches that camouflage (or disguise) themselves as Christian churches, are bigoted, hateful, social class prejudiced churches. Remember, Jesus already gave us (the true church) the promise that – although these churches seem strong now – they will “worship before our feet.”

Therefore, Chosen Ones, let us not make the same mistakes as these false churches, who “hast…denied [Jesus’] name” (Revelation 3:9). Let us continue to overcome by acknowledging Jesus’ name and by showing true love. Remember, our “victory” will be through the faith in Jesus’ word. Believe me when I tell you that our enemies (both inside and outside of the church worldwide) shall be put to shame – or, as God revealed to Isaiah in the last chapter of his book of prophecy (Isaiah 66:5), “Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word, your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, let the LORD be glorified [meaning we shall see who the Lord will bless, us or you!!!]: but he shall appear to your joy, and they [the false churches] shall be ashamed.”

I will write more on this subject next week. Until then, know this…

He That Overcometh (continued)

Beloved, in continuance of our theme, “He that Overcometh” – today we, in this modern church era, are encountering the same spirit everywhere. Many are professing to have that which they have not, yet they endeavor to keep themselves pure and spotless before God. Beloved, you cannot be pure before God until you are real enough to seek his help for any infirmities or weaknesses you experience in your spirit, mind, body, and soul! “He that is able to overcome” this spirit of hypocrisy shall be filled with the fullness of the true powerful Spirit of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ – or, as Jesus told John, “shall be clothed in white raiment” – not dirty raiment (or garments). John was taught that “the white raiment” represents “the righteousness of saints” (Revelation 19:8). On your own time read Jeremiah 23:6, 1 Corinthians 1:30, Romans 13:14, and Galatians 3:27 – these scriptures reveal unto us the importance of righteousness to God and that righteousness can only come from Him! Therefore, Beloved, only righteous people will inherit the City of Heaven!

Precious Ones, do not be deceived – our God is perfectly just and fair. Those who died without the knowledge of God’s Holy Spirit shall be “counted worthy” if they walked in all of the light of God’s Word they knew! However, those who live now have no excuse for not knowing about the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. Those who live now and will walk in the light, shall be “made worthy of being clothed in white raiment (Jesus’ righteousness by faith justification).” That is why our God inspired Paul to write, “[T]o every man [and woman] that is among you [the saints], not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith” (Romans 12:3). This means that some individuals have more faith than others and to some God has revealed more of Himself than to others. So, if you want to get to see Jesus’ face in peace, walk in all of the faith and revelation that has been given to you. “Overcome” the temptation to live beneath your realm of righteous knowledge, because you may be surrounded by others who do not know any better. Beloved, our God judges us based on our personal level of knowledge of what is right and what is wrong!

He That Overcometh (continued)

Beloved, in continuance of our theme, “He that Overcometh” – our Bible advocates that each and everyone of us who “overcometh,” shall be given the life, power, and authority that was manifested in Jesus Christ in the days of his flesh (or in the “morning” of the gospel dispensation [Revelation 22:16], which is definitive of “the bright and morning star”). Beloved, the truth of these revelations has come in the “evening time” – “but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light” (Zechariah 14:7). All this means is that the name of Jesus will be observed and exalted when this global environment experiences “the evening” of troubles, trials, and hardships. If these wars continue, if we have more and more casualties of typhoons in Indonesia (over 100,000 now and still counting), if we keep losing jobs to overseas corporations, if we keep experiencing AIDS and other incurable diseases – all of these tragedies will draw men and women, boys and girls to look for the true light of “the bright and morning star” – our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Precious Ones, the spirit of the Sardis period (of the Revelation Church age) was the spirit of false conception. They had a name that they lived by, but were dead. This spirit appeared at the time of the reformation of the Church Global. For example, many who followed Martin Luther (the religious reformer in 1546, who inspired Protestants to conform to justification by faith doctrine) and the reformers held fast to what knowledge they had, they refused to return to paganism. What was amazing was that they did this and did not have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of them as we do! Because of Luther’s firm stand (and the reformers), God honored them and exhorted them to hold fast to what they had received and heard, but to deepen their repentance. Even though they did not have the fullness of the Spirit yet, because they walked in all the light that they had, Jesus, who had the Seven Spirits (fullness) of God, declared, “[T]hey shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy” (Revelation 3:4).

Chosen Ones, this teaches us that we can “overcome” deception in our lives, even if we received false church doctrine by false conception. There are many Buddhist, Christian Scientist, Mormon, Jehovah’s Witness, and other false teachings and doctrine believers, who have chosen these persuasions because they were conceived in these doctrines. Their parents reared them up in these false conceptions. However, God does not excuse even them! He teaches that even they can “overcome” false conception – “[Y]e shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).

He That Overcometh (continued)

Beloved, in continuance of our theme, “He that Overcometh” – it is incumbent for us to understand that the greatness of the Kingdom of our God under the whole heaven, shall be given to “the saints of the most High” (Daniel 7:27). We shall “rule [the entire world] with a rod of iron” (Revelation 2:27). But wait a minute – there will be no need to rule the world with such force in eternity, because there shall be nothing of sin in the new world. Remember, Isaiah prophesied that “The wolf and the lamb shall feed together….They shall not hurt nor destroy [each other]” (Isaiah 65:25). This is teaching us that even the animals shall be at peace in the new world. Therefore, this scripture must refer to this present world. In other words, the saints are supposed to rule with an “iron rod” (which represents the Word of God) right now!! That means that Daniel prophesied about what he saw today!! We have received Word from our God, the authority of everything under the “heaven” (Daniel 7:27).

Precious Ones, moreover, God said, “And I will give him [that overcometh] the morning star” (Revelation 2:28). We know, Beloved, that the “morning star” is the star and scepter of Jacob. We also know without a shadow of a doubt that the “Star…of Jacob and…Scepter [or ruler/governor]…of Israel” is Jesus Christ, our Savior (see Numbers 24:17). Remember that He distinctly declared, “I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star” (Revelation 22:16).

Chosen Ones, all this means is that with Jesus as “the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2) we have all the authority and power on this earth. The challenge is that we need to become more like “overcomers” and use what authority has been given unto us.

I will write more on this subject next week. Until then know this – it’s the same every week and will never change…

I love you ALL so very much.

He That Overcometh (continued)

Beloved, in continuance of our theme, “He that Overcometh” – the rule of false doctrine (the Jezebel spirit) shall suddenly come to an end according to Revelation. But to those who “overcome” that false doctrine spirit in these days, shall be given “power over the nations: and…shall rule them with a rod of iron” (Revelation 2:26-27). Beloved, we need to “overcome” false doctrine such as the few examples I shall give you.

  1. Doctrine that teaches against interracial marriage and uses the Scripture to substantiate this false teaching – when God told the Israelites, “only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry” (Numbers 36:6). If this were true, then Moses himself (who wrote this book of Numbers) was in sin! Moses was of the tribe of Levi and his wife, Zipporah, was of the tribe of the Kenites (a branch of the Midianites) – so we know that this is not the correct interpretation. What God meant was that the Israelites were not to marry any people who served idol gods – their race had nothing to do with it!!!

  2. We must “overcome” false doctrine concerning salvation. Some teach eternal security (meaning no matter what you do, the Blood of Jesus will cover every sin committed without repentance!) – another lie! God did not stutter when He said, “The soul that sinneth, it shall die [!!!]” (Ezekiel 18:20), and Jesus confirmed this by stating, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill” (Matthew 5:17).

  3. We must “overcome” false doctrine of “inclusionism” (this is a teaching that has some believing that everyone is going to Heaven, but there are some who just don’t know it yet!) – major lie!! Revelation 21:8 teaches us the category of people that you and I will not see in Heaven – “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone [the Lake of Fire]” – they will not be permitted to Heaven!!!

I will write more on this subject next week. Until then know this…

I love you all SO very much.
Happy New Year.
