Take No Thought For Your Life Part 9

Beloved, in continuance of our theme, “Take no Thought for Your Life” - although we should celebrate the biblical fact that our Lord will give unto us the power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8), we should equally celebrate the fact that the Lord can take the little that we have and stretch it to cover all of our bills. I thank God for the splendiferous beauty of Solomon’s Temple (see I Kings 7), but I am equally excited about reading that Jesus fed 5 thousand men with “fives loaves [of bread], and two fishes” (see Matthew 14:17, Mark 6:38, Luke 9:13 and John 6:9). I’m grateful that Abraham was so wealthy that he defeated 5 kingdoms with his own army (see Genesis 14:1-17). However, I’m also grateful that there was a widow who had nothing but a “handful of meal...and a little oil”, but God blessed it and it never ran out after she baked the man of God his cake first ( I Kings 17:10-15).

Chosen Ones, God’s message o us thus far is, “Take no Thought for Your Life”. Don’t worry about how much God has given you! It doesn’t matter! All that matters is that (1) you give your “bread” to Jesus, and that (2) you give God the “first cake” of your income (tithes and offerings). If you do so, He will see to it that your “meal barrel” of blessings will never run out.

I will write more on this subject next week. Until then, know this…

I love you all SO very much.
In His love,

Pastor William L. McCoy
