Take Away the Stone (conclusion) Part 6

Beloved, in conclusion of our theme, “Take away the Stone” – “he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him” (Hebrews 11:6). Remember this – if you are seeking for God to do something, then you must believe that He can do it. If your “stone” of doubt is so large that it blocks your ability to believe for whatever you desire, then you must shame yourself for not receiving what you want. In other words, the wavering, unstable, doubting mind will never get God’s attention (see James 1:6-8).

Precious Ones, faith is the only virtue that causes God to move unanswered prayers in the direction of an answer. My personal way of viewing true faith is through each letter of that word – FAITH: For an Answer, I must Trust Him. In other words, when you have true faith in Jesus, you trust Him to do whatever you ask Him to do. This is why Jesus considers the truly righteous people to be those who have faith. God repeats this virtue in four places in scripture – Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, and Hebrews 10:38 – “The just shall live by faith.” Therefore, Beloved, you must take away anything that serves as a stone – anything that causes you not to trust in our perfect God who never makes a mistake. His Name is Jesus Christ!

I will write on a new subject next week. Until then, know this…

I love you all SO very much.
In His Love,

Pastor William L. McCoy
